Wonder if its the same Rusty Anchor that Blanche Devereaux from Golden Girls visited with Dorothy in season 7??? Hum…..
SO I cannot decided if I should watch all of my Gilda Radner movies (which would make me bawl and cry and weep uncontrollable) or if I should watch my Cher movie (which always put me in a good mood). I don’t think I should do one or two of both because the utter rollarcoaster of emotions might will be too much for me to handle by myself… .

So it seems that you have become more than anyone thought you would. But I guess you always knew what you wanted. That’s the most amazing thing about you; you made up your mind about something and just went right ahead and did it, without caring if you looked good or if people would be upset or whatever. That is what make you who you are. You are so strong. Happy Birthday to an amazing, talented, and relentless human. You are a prime example of where strength and courage and heart can take you. Happy Birthday, Cher!
On another note; Happy birthday good, Sir! Though this is a bittersweet day. You were Gilda’s best friend and one of the only ones that understood her. I thank you for that and wish you a very happy birthday.
23 years ago we lost Gilda. I cannot explain how deeply this still affects me, how just thinking of her dying makes me heart break and my eyes flood. There will never be anyone like her ever again and I am so very great full to be able to watch her whenever I want, to feel like I know her. I would give anything to be able to hug her and tell her how important and loved she is. To tell her how much of a difference her short life made and how much of a difference her death has made. Nothing I say will ever be enough to let anyone know the love and joy I have found in her.

“Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.”
“The goal is to live a full, productive life even with all that ambiguity. No matter what happens, whether the cancer never flares up again or whether you die, the important thing is that the days that you have had you will have lived.”
“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end.”
“While we have the gift of life, it seems to me the only tragedy is to allow part of us to die - whether it is our spirit, our creativity or our glorious uniqueness.”
A few poems/things that remind me of our dearest Gilda.
We all miss you so much. June 28 1946 - May 20 1989
I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.
Remembering Gilda Radner, June 28 1946 – May 20 1989 ♥
Gilda, the world misses you. FYI.
